Can I order over the phone?

Our website is designed to be a seamless customer experience. In this regard, we do not take payments over the phone.

When should I order?

You can order a gift today for a later date. Each order ships to one address so if you are sending gifts to two locations, you’ll need to place two separate orders.

We’re located in Greystones, co. Wicklow. You can find our contact details on our contact page.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard, processed through Stripe.

Do I have to provide recipient's telephone number?

You should provide the recipients contact number to avoid delivery delays.

Will the recipient know the value of the goods that have been ordered?

No, the recipient does not receive any details about the value of the order. Instead, we will email you a receipt for your purchase.

Will my recipient know who the gift is from?

If you add your name to the Gift Tag, you can let them know who it’s from. Alternatively, you can send the gift anonymously by letting us know you do not want any paperwork in the package.

How are the balloons delivered?

All balloons are delivered in a box.

When will my order be dispatched?

We will dispatch your order two days before your selected delivery date.

How long does delivery take?

All orders are dispatched for delivery 2 working days prior to selected date chosen. You can also select the option to have it delivered ‘Guarantee Delivery’ at an expressed rate if you need it urgently.

Do I have to use Eircode for delivery?

The short answer is, if you want to avoid delivery delays then yes, please find your Eircode on www.eircode.ie

I need to change the address/message/other details. Can I do this after the order has been confirmed?

Yes, just send us the updated details to info@balloonbox.ie along with your order number. Note, we can only do this if the order is still in our possession and has not been dispatched for delivery.

What shipping carrier will be used?

We use DPD Ireland couriers for all our standard deliveries and our own crew for ‘Guaranteed Delivery’.

Can I choose which day to have my order delivered?

You can select a delivery date at product stage. Note: Selecting a delivery day does not guarantee delivery on that date. We dispatch deliveries 2 days before the selected day if you opt for ‘Standard Delivery’. Once we dispatch your order DPD Couriers handle shipping and are in control of your order getting delivered.  If you opt for ‘Guaranteed Delivery’ your order will be delivered on selected day.

What if my order is delayed?

If you’re delivery is delayed, you need to contact DPD Ireland with your tracking number. Note, we do not guarantee delivery dates and all delivery information is only an estimate when you opt for ‘Standard Delivery’.

Can I specify delivery time?

No, we cannot guarantee delivery times on shipping. Delivery takes place between 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday. Please ensure there is someone home to collect the order you have placed.

Can I get same day delivery?

No, currently we do not do same day delivery.

Can my order be delivered tomorrow?

If you order before 12pm, we will dispatch your order on the same day, and it will be delivered next day in 95% of situations on ‘Standard Delivery’ option, we will deliver tomorrow on ‘Guaranteed Delivery’ option.

I am not sure someone is going to be at home during the day?

If you think the recipient will not be home, please send the gift to an alternative address such as their workplace.
